What do I need to become a traveling therapist?
Every facility and every state may have different requirements. However, most facilities preferably require one year of experience. Also a degree from an accredited university in the U.S. or Canada is typical of an ideal traveling therapist. Each state requires specific licensure which may vary in the time it takes to acquire. An exception to this rule would be working in a VA facility in which case you would only need a license from any state in the U.S. Have more questions about becoming a travel therapist?
