This year marks an extra special Ardor birthday; it’s our Jordan Year, folks! 🎉🏀🥳
Last week, we hit that iconic 2-3, and we celebrated like champions. There were cupcakes for days, a slam dunk Ardor History Kahoot game, and just a splash of bubbly 🥂. Occasions like this remind us why we do what we do—team spirit, a little friendly competition, and a lot of love for the game, and for each other. Happy birthday to us!
Where It All Began
But let’s take a moment to dribble down memory lane. Ardor Health started as a big idea with even bigger dreams in Coral Springs, where the brainchild of Patty & Mike Lamia got our story started. Diving into the world of healthcare staffing with Therapy being where it all began. Before long, our drive to grow meant it was time for some changes. In August of 2015, we made the migration to Tampa; making the decision that this is where we would plant our roots and watch them stretch across the US. Over the next decade, we expanded our playbook, adding allied and nursing divisions to our roster of staffing services.
The Game Changer
And then came the pandemic—a full-court press that tested every corner of our industry – and everyone within. For three unprecedented years, we pushed through, facing challenges that changed the way healthcare professionals work and the way the world sees them. It was a game-changer, one that forced us to rethink, reimagine, and reinvent how we support our travelers and our clients.
The Journey Ahead
This past year, as the COVID dust began to settle, we’ve taken the time to refine our brand and vision, investing in our team, our travelers, and our place in the healthcare industry. We’re more committed than ever to providing the best opportunities & support for professional and personal adventures. We’re here to ensure that whether you’re a healthcare professional or a facility, Ardor is the MVP you can count on.
As we look back on 23 years of growth, challenges, and triumphs, we’re filled with gratitude. To everyone who has been a part of this journey—thank you from the bottom of our hearts because 23 birthdays wouldn’t be possible without you. We’re beyond excited for the road ahead, and we can’t wait to celebrate another 23 incredible years with our amazing Ardor family.
