A new report from InsiderMonkey.com has shined some light on some of the highest demand cities for occupational therapists. These 11 cities offer some of the best locations to travel to for temporary assignments and offer some of the most competitive salaries in the country!

Occupational Therapy is absolutely essential to a patient’s rehabilitation. Occupational therapists work on identifying and eliminating environmental barriers to independence and participation in daily activities. OTs also help clients to recover and maintain important skills that are used in the work space.

According to InsiderMonkey.com, they determined the cities with the highest demand for occupational therapists, by discovering which cities paid the highest salaries to occupational therapists as higher salaries are a direct result of high demand. In addition, the folks over at InsiderMonkey.com also linked the amount of Occupational Therapists living in a city to high demand. Then then took the average of both the criteria mentioned in order to determine the rankings.
